Temporary
Restraint of Foliage
If a player is
impeded in the taking of his stance by a plant whose limbs or boughs are unmistakably
alive but pliant enough to be bent and twisted without breaking, he may intertwine
and interlace them in such a way that they remain fixed in place for the duration
of his stroke, provided that the process of their immobilisation does not require
the use of artificial restraints such as belts, shoelaces, bag straps, or tag
loops.
